ARTISTIC PHOTOGRAPHY

ARTIST STATEMENT:

🇬🇧 My work intersects photography, contemporary curating, and design. I consider my photographic practice a curatorial-artistic action, where I select fragments from the real world or the art world to transform them into images and, eventually, into objects within an installation. I work between direct photography and post-photography, exploring concepts such as transformation, spirituality, and the magical. I often use the mirror as a symbol of ambiguity and creation. My series take shape as installations that invite the viewer to actively participate. I’m interested in contemporary art as a space for openness, connection, and thought—beyond institutional boundaries.

🇪🇸 Mi obra cruza la fotografía, la curaduría contemporánea y el diseño. Considero a mi práctica fotográfica como una acción curatorial-artística, donde selecciono fragmentos del mundo real o del mundo del arte para transformarlos en imágenes y, posteriormente, en objetos de una instalación. Trabajo entre la fotografía directa y la postfotografía, abordando conceptos como la transformación, la espiritualidad y lo mágico. A menudo recurro al espejo como símbolo de ambigüedad y creación. Mis series toman forma en instalaciones que invitan al espectador a participar activamente. Me interesa que el arte contemporáneo sea un espacio de apertura, conexión y pensamiento, más allá de los límites institucionales.
